When I was six, neighbors and church members went on vacation and entrusted their dog to my care for a week. I`ve been caring for animals in some way ever since.
My folks let me fill the house with rescued pets and I continue to help those pets who are lost and abandoned.
I worked in the Veterinary Health field for 10 years and continue to be an advocate for pet health care advances and to encourage pet owners to be aware and informed as to their pets` health issues.
I founded and ran Animal Lifeline Emergency Response Team (A.L.E.R.T.), an animal disaster response volunteer program for Riverside County. I`m a certified disaster responder through HSUS and United Animal Nations EARS.
I continue to educate myself on pet related subjects to improve my skills and be able to offer new services to customers. I am a certified pet CPR/First Aid instructor.
I am offering back to my community and highlighting the good deeds that local pet charities are doing by sponsoring the Wishbones for Pets professional pet sitters charity drive.
All The Comforts of Home pet sitting and services was founded in Riverside County .CA in 1986. We service the Hemet and surrounding communities and have handled everything from small pets, to livestock, to exotics. Many of my customers have been with me since my start up.
Sharon grew up in the suburbs of the San Gabriel Valley area of Southern California. A lifelong love of animals led her into the Animal Science program at Mt. San Antonio Jr. College in Walnut, CA, where she graguated in 1976 with an Associate in Animal Science/Vet Med. The next 10 years were spent working for small animal hospitals, the Los Angeles SPCA and USC Health Sciences as a Viveria Tech and Research Tech in Pulmonary research. In 1986, she moved to Riverside County to be closer to her folks, who had retired here.
She looks forward to providing pet care services for some years yet.

so placid and self-contained,
I stand and look at them long and long." ~ Walt Whitman
